iRest™ Yoga Nidra is the practice of deep relaxation and meditative inquiry that can help release negative emotions & thought patterns. Some benefits include; calming the nervous system, relief from chronic pain, insomnia, depression and anxiety. Participants are invited to dress in comfortable clothing and to bring any props that can help them rest with ease, such as pillows and blankets. This practice is appropriate for both new and long-term meditators. This class is free to any veteran or active duty military member but is also open to the general public for a $5 1/2 hour class fee.
