Wulf Recreation Center
Located in the heart of Evergreen, is home to a 6-lane 25-yard lap pool, state of the art gymnastics facility, racquetball court, cardio room, basketball/volleyball gym, and dance studio. Outside are tennis courts, skateboard park, sand volleyball court, and an enclosed playground with picnic tables. For closures and updates, please refer to our home page or click here.
Weight Room
The unique spacious 1,600 square foot floor plan offers equipment for all levels of exercise enthusiasts. There are 20 pieces of cardio equipment including five crosstrainers, three upright bikes, one recumbent bike, five treadmills, one AMT, and one step mill. There are also free weights for those seeking an intensive work out.
Cardio/Weight Room Policy for Youth (ages 9 - 15)
Evergreen Park & Recreation District cardio/weight area is available for ages 9 and up. For safety reasons, youth who are ages 9 - 15 must have a paid adult (18 & older) with them at all times in the weight/cardio area; although teens ages 13 - 15 who take our FREE orientation class may use the cardio/weight area without adult (18 & older) supervision.
Cardio/Weight Equipment Orientation (Adults & Teens)
Our certified trainers provide an introduction to the cardio and weight equipment. Orientation includes an overview on how to use the equipment with proper form and technique. These classes are free of charge to those who have paid for admission to the facility or have a facility pass or punch card. Sign up at the front desk for the adult orientation 16 and older or the teen orientation 13 - 15. (Orientation is required for teens up to their 16th birthday to use the cardio and weight equipment without paid adult supervision.)
