Outdoor & Leadership Camps

Outdoor Adventure Camp (ages 8 - 13)

This summer camp offers youth in Evergreen and surrounding areas the opportunity to learn about their natural world. There are nine themed sessions offered. For forms, click here.

Theme Weeks
Climbing - June 4 - 8 or July 9 - 13
Go rock climbing, explore a 14er and learn about high-altitude activities.

Outdoors - June 11 - 15
Learn how to thrive in the backcountry by building your own shelter, geocaching, trying out first aid techniques and hiking.
Water - June 18 - 22 or July 16 - 20
Splash into summer with fly-fishing, boating, paddleboarding and whitewater rafting.

Conservation - June 25 - 29
Explore all that the great outdoors have to offer and learn about what we can do to protect it for years to come.

Roll With It - July 23 - 27
Expect to mountain bike, roller skate and skateboard during this camp.

Top To Bottom - July 30 - August 3
The best of both worlds. This week will be full of rock climbing, white water rafting and fun!

Overnight Camping - August 6 - 8
Learn wilderness skills while camping overnight with friends. Leave Monday at 9 AM and return Wednesday by 1 PM.

Leader In Training (L.I.T.) (ages 13 - 15)

Our L.I.T. program will provide leadership training, job experience, and training with our Summer Adventure Camp. The participants must attend at least 4 weeks out of the summer. 5/30 - 6/1 are mandatory training days. After the training days, participants will be required to attend at least two days a week from the weeks they are attending. Each participant must be at least 13 by June 5.

Required Forms

To be officially registered for camp, you must complete and turn in the full registration packet. For both Outdoor Awareness and Leaders In Training this includes the 2018 Camp Application. Medical paperwork is mandatory if your child requires medication.
