Youth Climbers
Sign up to conquer the pinnacle at the Buchanan Park Recreation Center. During this class children will learn the right place to climb as well as safety techniques associated with climbing. For the complete schedule, please click on the Register Online button. |
Note: Students attending climbing classes MUST wear sturdy shoes. Crocs, sandals, and skirts are not allowed on the wall at any time. For ALL climbing classes, the fee is PER WEEK.
Youth Competitive Climbing Team (ages 8 - 17)
Interested in trying your climbing skills in a competitive environment? Join the Youth Climbing Team at the Buchanan Park Recreation Center! The team will participate in competitions throughout the Front Range and Summit County. Transportation to competitions will be the responsibility of the parents (carpooling advisable). A membership to the JCCA (Junior Competitive Climbing Association) would be required if participating in actual competitions. Training will take place at the Buchanan Park climbing pinnacle.
