Visit an Engagement Station to help EPRD #ElevateOurCommunity!
Have you heard? EPRD is in the midst of a strategic planning process, and wants the community's input! You'll find engagement stations at BPRC, WRC, and the Lake House with multiple options for giving feedback and suggestions. There are two options when visiting an Engagement Station:
- Scan a QR code and offer feedback online.
- Fill out a response card & drop it in the box.
Community Feedback is integral to guiding Evergreen's Strategic Plan, so please use your voice and help Elevate Our Community! There will be plenty of ways to engage, online and in person.

Evergreen Lake House's Zamboni and Ice Rinks!
The Zamboni on Evergreen Lake runs (conditions permitting) in the mornings and evenings to provide a smooth, glassy surface for the community to enjoy! EPRD allows skaters on the ice while the Zamboni is being used, so don’t be surprised if a skate guard or Park Operations crew member clears a skate area and advises you to keep your distance.
Evergreen Ice Rinks lay on top of an active lake, therefore cracks will naturally occur. The ice is maintained by our Park Operations team by flooding the rinks to fill in cracks. This allows for the Zamboni to shave the top layer of the ice off and provides a smooth skating experience. Ice measurements are taken to ensure there are 16 inches of thickness to hold the 5,550lb Zamboni. Due to safety concerns, Ice Rinks are subject to being closed early because of chopped-up and uneven ice on a warm day. If soft slush freezes and provides an uneven surface, then skating injuries can occur. In addition, the rinks cannot always recover from warm weather which ultimately can shorten the season.
Always call the Skating Hotline before visiting at 720-880-1391 to check if rinks are open!
