Youth Brazilian Jui Jitsu

Our Youth Brazilian Jiu Jitsu class is our littles program (ages 5-8) that is aimed at ages five to eight year old. We work on life skills as well as teamwork in and out of the gym. We make it clear that we only use jiu jitsu in case of a serious emergency, such as self defense against someone who is hurting us. We are not here to use or learn how to fist fight but a way to learn to control a bully/attacker and be able to escape to get help. We work on average of 2 techniques per class. We start with fun warmups that relate to their jiu jitsu training.

We are a team and family that works on positive attitudes and working hard to move ahead in life. In this program the kiddos will learn the fundamentals of jiu jitsu at a pace that is age appropriate.

There will be an additional fee of $60 for uniform (to be paid to the instructor the first day of class) which will include shorts and a shirt.

Intro to Teen Brazilian Jui Jitsu

Teens of all skill levels and abilities (ages 9-14) will benefit from Jiu-Jitsu classes with BTT Evergreen. Our program is designed to teach children self-discipline as well as providing a fun environment to learn self-defense skills. Our program's curriculum is structured in a way that shows children and teens the value of practice, teamwork, and self-awareness. By practicing jiu jitsu, teens learn valuable skills that include Self-Defense, fitness, confidence, goal setting, increased focus, among the many other benefits.

We have a great mix of boys and girls in the group. We work on average 2-3 techniques per class. We start with warmups that relate to their jiu jitsu training. Following the warmups, we work technique with different partners around their age and size. After kids have put in a few weeks of classes, they learn how to roll or grapple with each other. When they roll with will a partner, they are able to put the techniques they have learned into action. This better helps prepare them for the chance they ever have to use jiu jitsu in a self-defense situation.

Intro to Teen Boxing

BTT Evergreen offers a youth course (ages 9-14) that introduces the basic boxing skills and techniques. Our program is designed to build a strong and confident kids, in and out of the gym. Class includes cardio, shadow boxing, bag work and partner drills. Our youth program will help develop coordination, agility, speed, and strength. Help change bad habits into positive life choices with fitness. We look forward to seeing you in class!

There will be an additional fee of $90 for uniform (to be paid to the instructor the first day of class) which will include shorts and a shirt and boxing gloves.
