Take EPRD Fitness Classes In Person at Buchanan Park Recreation Center!
We are offering several fitness classes in-person at BPRC. All in-person classes have a drop-in fee per class or you can use your cycling/fitness 10-punch card or monthly fitness pass.
Evergreen Park & Recreation District offers a wide variety of fitness and wellness opportunities. Our goal is to fulfill the physical needs of our patrons by providing classes that are geared toward all fitness levels and abilities. Come discover and attain your hidden fitness potential in a professional, relaxed, and non-pressured atmosphere.
Based on the science of functional movement, Circl Mobility focuses on flexibility, breath work, and mobility exercises. This class will help you release stiffness and tension, restore your range of motion to speed recovery while improving balance and focus, and renew your ability to enhance muscle activation and circulation.
Fitness Fusion Indoor Cycling
With the first half of the class comprising a cycle ride, and the second half moving off the bike for a full-body strength workout, the possibilities are endless. The extensive advantages of strength and cardio hybrid delivered in an efficient amount of time will give riders extra conditioning without needing to find the extra time.
Nia workouts combine 52 simple moves with dance arts, martial arts, and healing arts to energize and enliven well-being in 60 minutes - body, mind, emotion, and spirit.Nia is non-impact, practiced barefoot, and adaptable to individual needs and abilities.
PiYo is a hybrid, athletic workout, which combines the mind/body practices of yoga and Pilates, as well as the principles of stretch, strength training, conditioning, and dynamic movement. We crank up the music, the speed, and the fun to give you an intense, yet low-impact workout.
Instead of listening to music, you become the music in this exhilarating full-body workout that combines cardio, conditioning, and strength training with yoga and pilates-inspired movements. You’ve seen the smiles, you’ve felt the energy - it’s Zumba! This workout combines high energy and motivating music with simple synchronized dance movements designed for any fitness level. Aerobic fitness interval training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms tones and sculpts the body. Then Zumba is for you! No dance experience is necessary.
Instructional Indoor Cycling at BPRC
Experienced and novice riders will learn proper cycling form and bike setup to get the ultimate aerobic workout! All Indoor Cycling classes designed to get the heart pumping and the legs spinning. Classes will include endurance training, timed interval work, great music, and more.

Drop-in fees or punch cards can be used to pay for any class. Due to limited space of 12 people per class, any no-shows or late cancellations (less than 24 hours) will be charged for their reservation.

Indoor Cycling at BPRC
This class is a high energy fun group workout focusing on endurance, strength & intervals for improving fitness levels. Cycle class is perfect for those who just want to saddle up and get fit without having to learn routines or specific moves.
Personal Training Sessions
Our personal trainers are certified, fitness professionals. Personal trainers set their own schedules and will help you to develop and/or to improve your exercise routine. Our trainers offer group personal training with 2 to 4 clients at a time. Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to the appointment; the client will be charged for a full session if there is less than 24 hours' notice of a cancellation or a no-show by the client. All sessions are for one hour unless noted otherwise.

Join Rob Brewer in the XL Fitness classes to achieve your peak health goals. Your primary goal should be feeling and performing your best. Your fitness routine should allow you to do more of what you love. XL Fitness focuses on agility, mobility, strength, and cardiovascular health in a fast-paced, high-intensity class setting using calisthenics and weight training. These classes will help you gain muscle and lose fat through fitness and proper nutrition. Your life will improve on every level. Monthly fee covers 10 classes a week. Try it for one week for free.

Time: 6:45-7:50 AM, M-F at BPRC and 6:00-7:05 PM at WRC

Weight Room Orientations
Certified trainers provide an introduction to cardio and weight equipment, including proper form and technique for maximum safety and effectiveness. Sessions are 45 minutes in length and may be scheduled with 4 people per orientation. Contact the front desk for more information at 720-880-1200 or 720-880-1100. Weight room orientations are also offered once a month with our trainers at BPRC for $10 per person.
Weight Room Rules and Guidelines
Cardio/Weight Room Policy for Youth (9 to 15 Years)
Evergreen Park & Recreation District’s cardio/weight areas are available for use by patrons 9 years and older. For safety reasons, youth 9 to 12 years must be accompanied by a paid adult (18 and older). Youth 13 to 15 years who would like to use the weight/cardio area without adult supervision may schedule a weight room orientation or a private/semi private session with a personal trainer.
