Take EPRD Fitness Classes In Person or via Zoom!
We are offering several classes online and in-person at BPRC. Eleven classes a week for $16 DR/$20 NDR or just do a drop-in for $8 DR/ $10 NDR per class. These can be done online from the comfort of your home or done in-person at BPRC.

BodyBarre
A seamless, high-energy flow of ballet-inspired choreography, pilates-based exercises, and a focus on breath with movement. The BodyBarre method is designed to keep your heart rate up and your muscles working hard with zero impact, leaving you strong, sleek, and streamlined.
Strong Nation
Introducing music-led interval training. With most workout programs, music is an afterthought, but the music in Strong Nation was crafted to drive the intensity in a challenging progression that provides a total-body workout. This is NOT a dance class!
Zumba
You’ve seen the smiles, you’ve felt the energy - it’s Zumba! This workout combines high energy and motivating music with simple synchronized dance movements designed for any fitness level. Aerobic fitness interval training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms tones and sculpts the body. Then Zumba is for you! No dance experience necessary.
Zumba® Tone
Those who want to party, but put extra emphasis on toning and sculpting to define those muscles! How It Works. The challenge of adding resistance by using Zumba® Toning Sticks (or light weights), helps you focus on specific muscle groups, so you (and your muscles) stay engaged!

Kickboxing and Strength
Easy to follow kickboxing segments for cardio, combined with weight segments to develop strength and core. A great way to kickstart your weekend!
STRONG Nation™
Combines body weight, muscle conditioning, cardio and plyometric training moves synced to original music that has been specifically designed to match every single move.
Turbo Kick
The ultimate cardio-kickboxing experience. Perfect for the beginner and elite fitness enthusiast alike! This fat-burning workout combines cardio kickboxing with body-sculpting HIIT moves choreographed to the hottest music mixes. Get lean, get toned, and feel unstoppable in the class that’s high energy and super addicting!

Sunrise Yoga
These are all-levels classes that work on strength, flexibility, and stress relief. The poses have options for beginners and advanced students and connects movement to breath. Each class ends with a short meditation.
Yoga Sculpt
Yoga Sculpt is a class that incorporates hand weights and high-intensity cardio bursts for a maximum calorie-burning effect. The hand weights add a new challenge to traditional yoga classes. Yoga Sculpt also incorporates cardio exercises to get your heart pumping and your blood flowing.
Yoga
This class teaches the fundamentals of yoga, including sun salutations, standing poses, balancing postures and core strengthening. Practice moving into and out of postures safely and with correct alignment.
Instructional Indoor Cycling- starting March 24 at BPRC
Experienced and novice riders will learn proper cycling form and bike setup to get the ultimate aerobic workout! All Indoor Cycling classes designed to get the heart pumping and the legs spinning. Classes will include endurance training, timed interval work, great music, and more. Reservations will be required. Sign Up Genius Reservations
Drop-in fees or punch cards can be used to pay for any class. Due to limited space of 4 people per class, any no-shows or late cancellations (less than 24 hours) will be charged for their reservation.

Beginner Spinner
Are you new to Indoor Cycling? Are you anxious about giving spin a try? Are you recovering from an injury? Do you want a gentle spin cycle? Then this class is for you!

Middle School and High School Strength and Conditioning Class
Join us for a Strength and Conditioning class designed for Middle or High School aged youth. Whether your sport is in its off-season or delayed due to COVID-19, this class will help you stay conditioned and ready to return better than ever. This class will improve all fitness levels by focusing on the foundations: mobility, stability, strength, endurance, power, speed, agility, and performance. Participants will engage in a variety of exercises to develop or improve their own fitness foundation improving sports or everyday activities.

Insurance Based Online Classes via Zoom!
We are not letting COVID-19 stop us from doing some fitness classes! EPRD is doing several insurance-based classes online. Simply contact Kendra Head to register.
Classes offered are: SilverSneakers Classic on Monday at 10:30 AM, and Wednesday at 11:15 AM. SilverSneakers Circuit on Tuesday at 9:15 AM and Friday at 9:15 AM. New in-person classes at BPRC starting April 5: Silver and Strong on Monday and Thursday at 10:30 AM.
Insurance Based Programs
There are some changes happening among several healthcare insurance providers regarding the benefits you receive utilizing EPRD for your fitness needs.
Insurance Based Programs in effect as of January 1, 2020 at EPRD:

Please note: If your specific insurance provider is listed above, it does not automatically mean you have the fitness benefits. This is dependent on the plan you have chosen and will need to be verified by your insurance provider. EPRD will not have access to the insurance provider’s information until January 2, 2020.

Classes for Insurance Based Programs Include:
SilverSneakers® Classic
Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement and activities for daily living. Hand-held weights, resistance bands and a SilverSneakers® ball are offered for resistance. A chair is used for standing support.
SilverSneakers® Circuit
Combine fun and fitness to increase cardiovascular and muscular endurance power with a standing circuit workout.
Silver Seniors
Increases muscle strength and range of movement to improve daily living activities. A chair is provided for seated or standing support
All SilverSneakers trademarked fitness classes are limited to 30 participants per class.
Aquatics
- Stretch and Tone is a zero-impact, low-intensity class. Improves flexibility, range of motion and stretching techniques. Designed to aid in injury rehabilitation and alleviates issues associated with arthritis.
- Water Walking is a low- to moderate-impact and intensity. Improves fitness, balance and cardiovascular strength. Conducted in vortex with exercises taught with and against water current.
- Vortexercise class exercises vary in intensity levels to increase endurance, strength and cardiovascular ability. Conducted in vortex against water current.
- Water Aerobics classes offer a variety of workouts, incorporating both zero- and moderate-impact. Various intensity levels offered, including workouts to increase flexibility, range of motion and muscle strength.
Evergreen Pickleball
Come join us for America’ s fastest growing sport. Pickleball is played similarly to tennis on smaller courts. Games can be played indoors or outdoors and as singles or doubles. Each session is open to the public at Wulf Recreation Center. For more information visit our Pickleball page.
Ping Pong
What a great way to keep that competitive edge, work on your spin shots, work up a sweat or just practice hitting the ball. This totally fun sport is offered at Buchanan Park Recreation Center.
On-Site Full Body Massage
Buchanan Park Recreation Center Only
Massage helps to soothe nervous tension, increase blood circulation, and alleviate muscle cramping, tightening, and knots. Massage is by advance appointment. Contact the Massage Therapists directly to schedule your appointment.

Personal Training Sessions
Our personal trainers are certified fitness professionals. Personal trainers set their own schedules and will help you to develop and/or to improve your exercise routine. Our trainers offer group personal training with 2 to 4 clients at a time. Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to the appointment; the client will be charged for a full session if there is less than 24 hours notice of a cancellation or a no-show by the client. All sessions are for one hour unless noted otherwise.

Weight Room Orientations
Certified trainers provide introduction to the cardio and weight equipment, including proper form and technique for maximum safety and effectiveness. Sessions are 45 minutes in length, which may be scheduled with 4 people per orientation. Contact either front desk for more information and/or to set up an appointment.
