Adult Tai Chi Chuan

Tai Chi Chuan is a martial art system that operates on the practical application of the philosophical Daoist concept of Tai Chi, which is an integral component of many Chinese disciplines including Traditional Chinese Medicine, Chinese Geomancy (Feng Shui), Divination (I Ching) and Chinese Astrology.

Beginner 1 Tai Chi Chuan

Tai Chi Chuan is a Taoist internal martial art. It is learned within an ancient system of fluid, rounded, and balanced movements. Practiced daily, Tai Chi will promote spiritual, emotional, and physical equilibrium.
Beginner 1: The first third of the form will be taught.

Beginner 2 Tai Chi Chuan

Beginner 2: The complete form will be taught.

Intermediate Tai Chi Chuan

Tai Chi Chuan is a Taoist internal martial art. It is learned within an ancient system of fluid, rounded, and balanced movements. Practiced daily, Tai Chi will promote spiritual, emotional, and physical equilibrium.
Intermediate: Focuses on the refinement of the form and enhancing Chi.

Tai Chi for Arthritis and Fall Prevention

Tai Chi is a meditative martial art, which features slow, gentle movements that can be done seated or standing.    Medical studies have shown that Tai Chi reduces pain,  prevent falls,  improves balance and enhances overall health.  This class focuses on warm ups, cool downs and the foundational movements of Tai Chi for Arthritis so you can practice independently.   We also have an alumni class for experienced players below.

Alumni Tai Chi for Arthritis

This class is for those who have completed Tai Chi for Arthritis Parts 1 and 2. We will continue to practice Dr. Lam’s TCA program and learn other forms including Tai Chi for Osteoporosis, Tai Chi for Stress Reduction and Immunity, Tai Chi for Rehabilitation and Tai Chi for Energy.
