A MESSAGE FROM THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Did you know that in February we gain back over 60 minutes of daylight over the whole month? I don’t know about you, but I LOVE that. During this month of Love and Light (see what I did there) enjoy our wintery outdoors. Ice Skating is open, we have our mountain biking series on the lake, broom ball and so many pther fun activities. If warm activities are more your speed, check out our recreation center offerings. You can practice your kayaking at Wulf pool on Saturdays, enjoy a night on the town while your kids participate in Kids Night Out, try line dancing on Wednesdays or attend our new gentle flow yoga on Friday mornings. EPRD even has ways to help you have a great Valentine’s Day --  be on the lookout for our Sneak Peek at Love Week on our social media pages. Speaking of socials, have you seen our updates on facilities?  Our department experts are doing a great job of giving us quick updates on projects around the district, so show them some LOVE when you see them.  Your EPRD team LOVES serving our community.

EPRD will host quarterly community meetings open to the public. These meetings will be held virtually via Microsoft Teams. Highlighted Program of the Month

Girls Middle School Flag Football League

 New flag football league spearheaded by EPRD for middle school girls. Sign-up and play teams from Arvada (Apex PRD), Littleton (Foothills PRD), and Golden.

Practices on Mondays and Wednesdays at Marshdale (Mondays) and Stagecoach (Wednesdays) and games on either Saturday or Sunday.  Registration Opens Feb 24th

    Gymnastics

    • Doodle Bugs: Click here to register
      • Parent-child art and gymnastics class. Helps develop social skills, gross motor, fine motor and friendships. Class is 45 min of tumble bugs and 30 mins of art. Then a really good nap at home!
      • Tuesdays at 9:15 AM & Thursdays at 10:15 AM

      • A multiple skills experience, focusing on the arts, dance & gymnastics! We will split into 3 groups and rotate between each event. Come meet some friends, learn a new skill and explore with us!

      • A FUNdamental coed gymnastics class focusing on learning skills through obstacle courses, challenges and games. A great class for beginners to try out gymnastics in a FUN and engaging way!
