A MESSAGE FROM THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Spring is just around the corner—and if you’ve been to Buchanan Park lately, you’ve probably noticed we’re not just waiting for the flowers to bloom! Construction crews have kicked off the first steps toward improving our park infrastructure, including a road maintenance and additional parking stalls. We know, parking isn’t glamorous, but it sure will make life easier when you're trying to get to your favorite park amenity or event on the fields!

And that’s just the beginning! We’re wrapping up design on two major projects—the aquatics expansion and the skatepark. Site prep and construction will start in the coming months, so hang tight while things take shape. Trust us, it’s going to be worth the wait.

We’ve also got some important youth-focused conversations coming up. On March 3, we’ll be hosting an EPRD /Parent Roundtable to keep the dialogue flowing on behalf of the youth in our community. On March 9, join us for a public meeting about the future Adventure Playground at Buchanan Park. We want you to be part of how we navigate program and project planning in these two important initiatives.

Of course, the fun doesn’t stop there! March is packed with programs: Active Adults excursions, Father-Daughter Dance, Family Night Out, and more. And here’s a little insider tip—our March Pass Sale kicks off March 15. Mark your calendars and snag those savings!

Call it spring cleaning, call it a glow-up—whatever you call it, EPRD is moving and shaking, and we’re thrilled to be taking these strides with our Evergreen community. Thanks for being part of the journey. We can’t wait to share what’s next!
