Stretch & Flex for Seniors

EPRD and Active Adult Programs are excited to announce Stretch & Flex classes for Seniors!

 

Stretching exercises for seniors are essential for maintaining flexibility and preventing falls. These exercises not only improve mobility but also reduce pain and enhance overall well-being. This exercise and stretch course is adaptable so that anyone can participate-regardless of cognitive or physical ability!

We will start each session with breathing techniques, and work our way stretching the entire body from the top down, leaving each participant feeling relaxed, loose, and ready to take on the rest of their week. We will finish each stretching session with going over The Daily Chronicle, a daily Senior’s newspaper publication and talking about each of those articles.

These are Drop-In (No Reservation) classes, with no fees or charges for EPRD Members. No sign-up necessary, just bring yourself and a smile and join us for a weekly mental and physical workout!
