Middle School DEVO Mountain Biking Summer Sessions

A large group of kids and adults are posing on a wooded trail, wearing bike helmets and celebrating in a cheerful outdoor setting.

Middle School DEVO Mountain Biking Summer Sessions

The Middle School Devo Program is designed for riders who want to develop strong mountain biking skills while riding real trails in a fun, supportive team environment!

This program focuses on proper trail etiquette, safe and efficient group riding, and building solid bike-handling skills including pedaling, braking, cornering, climbing, and descending.

Riders will practice skills off-trail and immediately apply them on singletrack, learning how to navigate obstacles, terrain changes, and trail features with confidence. Emphasis is placed on progression, teamwork, and having fun while riding.

Participants should be comfortable riding a bike on trails and ready to challenge themselves as skills and trail difficulty increase throughout the season.

This session includes a DEVO '26 MTB jersey from Primal!

Volunteers are needed to help lead these individual groups!

This session will meet at the Alderfer Barn from 11:15am to 12:30pm on Sundays and 4:30pm - 5:45pm on Tuesdays.

What to bring: Two water bottles, sunscreen, snack, and rain gear as needed (to be carried by the rider in a frame bag, hip pack, backpack, etc)
