Join the Evergreen Chamber and Evergreen Parks and Recreation District at our 4th Annual fun filled community event on Saturday, February 7th
It is time to accept our reality, foothills community...it is cold here in the winter. And in the dead of winter, it can be downright frigid! In the spirit of embracing and not complaining, your Evergreen Chamber and Evergreen Parks and Rec is rolling out a day of fun for all on February 7, 2026. Join us for Chill Out Winterfest!
1st Race in the Series Come join the Evergreen Parks and Recreation District for the only bicycle ice race in Colorado! This race is ON Evergreen Lake, yes that’s right you will be racing on an approximately 1 mile course across the ice. Helmets are required for all participants and knee and elbow pads are highly recommended. Studded tires are permitted.
Bike Drop off and Check-in at Fisherman's Lot on North East side of Lake on HWY 74
Shuttle from Stagecoach will run from 7:00AM until event is over

Course: 1-mile loop on Evergreen Lake
Timing/scoring: Cyclocross style timed event, everyone finishes on leader's lap.
